HIGHWAY EXIT

This new album we are making is probably going to be heavy or heavier the least. If JAC was rock-driven electronica, this album is gonna be more like the Doors meet DJ Shadow (or even AC/DC meet LCD Soundsystem). Working titles for some of the new tracks: “Free Falling”, “Be The Devil”, “I’m Pregnant”, “Not The Kindest Person”, “I Know You Well”. We’ll keep you posted about the progress of that.

We’ve also just completed a song for Dimitra Galani’s new conceptual album, a reconstruction-kind-of project of an older tune (“Tipota”) that proved quite interesting and creative. We tried to actually make a new song out of an old one and I think we did.

In the meantime, last week we made a video for “Like Fire” (the last single of JAC) at Intrepid Fox bar downtown with director Dimitris Sylvestros. It was the fastest video we’ve shot yet! We can’t wait to watch the final cut.. Probably will air in April on Greek TV and Youtube.com..

Thank you everyone that showed up in our last two shows at New York Bar, Thessaloniki and BarGuruBar, Athens.. all the new and older friends we got to meet and share the music with, but especially the people that made those two nights happen. We introduced two new covers in those two gigs (The Stooges’ Wanna Be Your Dog and Nick Cave’s Do You Love Me) as well as some tracks from JAC we don’t usually play and the feedback was quite encouraging.
